A Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (KR) and member of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation (RF) Sabyrbek Jumabekov paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China (PRC) from 4 to 12 January.
During this work visit, the academician S. Jumabekov together with Nikolai Zagorodny, a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, the Director of the Central Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics delivered eight open lectures on innovative technologies in traumatology and orthopedics for the specialists from the leading clinics in China. In addition, they visited the leading university clinics in the cities of Shanghai, Nanin, Fangchengan and Beijing, where they consulted many patients with musculoskeletal system pathology. In the university clinic in Fanchengam the academician S. Jumabekov delivered a master class on knee joint pathologies. On the instructions of the Chinese President Si Jinping a new health innovative center with 2,000 beds is being built in Fangchenggang based on advanced technologies.
The mayor of Fanchengan appointed the academician S. Jumabekov as an adviser for medical development; while the people's city government appointed him the chief specialist in traumatology and orthopedics in the City hospital #1.
The academicians S. Jumabekov and N. Zagorodny visited China at the invitation of the Beijing center for cultural exchange and travel for Peace, the international Silk Road Award Foundation, the Chinese SHCO Committee for humanitarian cooperation, the people's government of Fanchengan city and the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China.
