Hemodialysis Services for the Patients with V-degree Chronic Renal Insufficiency to be paid from the Budget

Hemodialysis services (medical procedures for blood purification) for the patients with V-stage chronic renal failure will be fully paid from the national budget. The procedure for hemodialysis services was approved by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 29, 2019, No. 441.

Patients with stage five chronic renal failure will receive hemodialysis under the same conditions without co-payment, i.e. they will not be divided into budget and subsidized categories.

Patients are given the right of a free choice of a healthcare organization that provides hemodialysis services, regardless of its ownership and territorial location.

The applications and documents provided will serve as a basis for the electronic list of patients with chronic renal failure of the fifth stage; the list to be included in the "Unified register". The lists of patients are approved on a regular basis by a special Commission.

Hemodialysis services are provided depending on the severity of the disease without limiting the number of sessions for one month.

The hemodialysis services will be paid at the expense of the national budget on the basis of the relevant agreement.

The Mandatory Health Insurance Fund under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic is a single payer for hemodialysis services provided to patients.

We stress that hemodialysis services are provided both by public and private health organizations which have the relevant license
