Recovered patients

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 282 patients with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across the republic: in Bishkek city 209 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 28, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 14.

 

Total number of recoveries during the entire period – 191,679 patients.

New cases

 

As at 9 February 2022, 97 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 53, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 23, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 3.

 

In total, 199,714 cases were registered during the entire period, including 139,394 laboratory-confirmed cases and 60,320 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) – Rt – is 0.5.

Number of PCR tests carried out in the past twenty-four hours – 3,479.

 

Receiving treatment

 

Currently, 684 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 2,883 people are in outpatient care.

 

The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as follows: Bishkek city – 361, Osh city – 28, Chuy province – 158, Osh province – 19, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 39, Jalal-Abad province – 31, Batken province – 33. Out of the 684 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 351 people (51.3%) is categorized as moderately severe, 277 patients (40.4%) are in severe condition and 56 (8.1%) – in critical condition.

 

The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek city – 1,797, Osh city – 157, Chuy province – 185, Osh province – 84, Talas province – 152, Naryn province – 63, Issyk-Kul province – 193, Jalal-Abad province – 146, Batken province – 106.

 

 

Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases – in Bishkek – due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 2 cases – in Bishkek and Chuy province – due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (unvaccinated). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,913 cases, including 1,218 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,695 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

 

Medical workers

 

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 7,725. In the past twenty-four hours, 7 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 11 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,311 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
