MER Project



The Medical Education Reforms Project (MER Project)  is aimed to improve the quality of medical training, driven by the needs of practical health care in the Kyrgyz Republic and focused on the training of Family Physicians / General Practitioners.

The Project works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health, which provides overall guidance to reform the system of medical education; as well as with the Ministry of Education and Science; KSMA named after I.K. Akhunbaev, KSMITR named after S.B. Daniyarov, KRSU named after B. Yeltsin, Faculty of Medicine at Osh State University and healthcare organizations and professional medical associations.
