Smoking has a negative effect on fertility

-    Smokers are more prone to suffer from infertility. Quitting smoking means eliminating one of the risk factors leading to difficulties with getting pregnant, premature labor, giving birth to children with low body mass, and miscarriages.

-    Smoking can cause erectile dysfunction. Smoking restricts blood flow to the penis, blocking an erection. Erectile dysfunction is more commonly seen in people who smoke, and it is highly likely that this problem will persist or become a permanent one if a man does not quit smoking at a young age.

-    Smoking has a negative impact on sperm concentration, motility, and shape in men.
