More taste, less salt!

It might seem that the only way to improve the taste of homemade food is by adding a pinch of salt – but there are many other ways to make your food tastier!

 

Simple pieces of advice to help you use less salt:

 

·        Replace salt with chili peppers, citrus fruits, fresh herbs, garlic, black pepper, and spices;

·        Use less sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, and salad dressing that may contain large amounts of hidden salt;

·        Cook food and broth using less salt.

 

And remember – ALL salt is salt (even sea, mineral and pink salt!). But there are alternatives with low sodium content for those who need a bit more time to get used to the less salty taste.
