Recovered patients
In the past twenty-four hours, 308 patients
with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and
clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across
the republic: in Bishkek city – 240 patients,
Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 23, Osh
province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad
province – 12, Batken province – 17.
Total number of recoveries during
the entire period – 191,397 patients.

New cases
As at 8 February 2022, 98 new
cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were
registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 38, Osh
city – 2, Chuy province – 43, Osh
province – 0, Talas province – 1,
Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 3,
Batken province – 2.
In total, 199,617
cases were registered during the entire period, including 139,335 laboratory-confirmed cases and
60,282 cases confirmed based on
clinical and epidemiological data.
The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) –
Rt – is 0.5.

Receiving treatment
Currently, 766 patients
across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 2,995 people are in outpatient care.
The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as
follows: Bishkek city – 403, Osh
city – 30, Chuy province –
178, Osh province – 22,
Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 8,
Issyk-Kul province – 49, Jalal-Abad
province – 34, Batken province – 35. Out
of the 766 patients receiving
inpatient care, the condition of 407
people (53.1%) is categorized as moderately severe, 301 patients (31.1%) are in severe condition and 58 (6.0%) in critical condition.
The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed
COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek
city – 1,918, Osh city – 156, Chuy province – 172, Osh
province – 87, Talas province – 149,
Naryn province – 63, Issyk-Kul province – 186,
Jalal-Abad province – 149, Batken province – 115.
Fatalities
Four (4) deaths
due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases – 2 in Bishkek, 1 in Chuy
province – due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 1 case – in Bishkek – due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of
clinical and epidemiological data (unvaccinated). The overall death toll due to
COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,909
cases, including 1,216 laboratory-confirmed
cases and 1,693 cases confirmed based
on clinical and epidemiological data.
Medical workers
Four (4)
new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past
twenty-four hours: 2 in Bishkek city, 1 in Issyk-Kul province, 1 in Chuy
province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 7,723. In the past twenty-four hours, 9 medical workers were discharged from
inpatient care and 19 medical
workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,293 medical workers have recovered in
the republic.
