Recovered patients
In the past twenty-four hours, 207 patients
with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and
clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across
the republic: in Bishkek city – 154 patients,
Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 16, Osh
province – 5, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad
province – 15, Batken province – 1.
Total number of recoveries during the entire period – 193,385
patients.

New cases
As at 16 February 2022, 54 new
cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were
registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 25, Osh
city – 2, Chuy province – 9, Osh
province – 0, Talas province – 2,
Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 10,
Batken province – 0.
In total, 200,175
cases were registered during the entire period, including 139,682 laboratory-confirmed cases and
60,493 cases confirmed based on
clinical and epidemiological data.
The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) –
Rt – is 0.5.

Receiving treatment
Currently, 378 patients
across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 1,910 people are in outpatient care.
The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as
follows: Bishkek city – 196, Osh
city – 17, Chuy province –
98, Osh province – 7,
Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 0,
Issyk-Kul province – 27, Jalal-Abad
province – 7, Batken province – 22. Out
of the 378 patients receiving
inpatient care, the condition of 177
people (46.8%) is categorized as moderately severe, 158 patients (41.7%) are
in severe condition and 43 (11.3%)
in critical condition.
The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed
COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek
city – 935, Osh city – 153, Chuy province – 222, Osh
province – 72, Talas province – 121,
Naryn province – 45, Issyk-Kul province – 188,
Jalal-Abad province – 108, Batken province – 66.
Fatalities
Three (3) deaths
due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four
hours: 2 in Bishkek, 1 in Issyk-Kul province (unvaccinated). The overall death
toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,935 cases, including 1,235
laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,700
cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.
Medical workers
One (1)
new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four
hours – in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with
COVID-19 is 7,737. In the past
twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker
was discharged from inpatient care and 7
medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,386 medical workers have recovered in
the republic.
