Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for February 24

Recovered patients

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 137 patients with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across the republic: Bishkek city 76 patients, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 18, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 4.

 

Total number of recoveries during the entire period – 194,664 patients.

New cases

 

As at 24 February 2022, 14 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 9, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 0, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

 

In total, 200,402 cases were registered during the entire period, including 139,788 laboratory-confirmed cases and 60,614 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) – Rt – is 0.5.

Number of PCR tests carried out in the past twenty-four hours – 1,922.

 

Receiving treatment

 

Currently, 207 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 1,008 people are in outpatient care.

 

The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as follows: Bishkek city – 96, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 57, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 8. Out of the 207 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 85 people (41.0%) is categorized as moderately severe, 94 patients (45.4%) are in severe condition and 28 (13.5%) – in critical condition.

 

The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek city – 340, Osh city – 133, Chuy province – 163, Osh province – 61, Talas province – 86, Naryn province – 26, Issyk-Kul province – 116, Jalal-Abad province – 50, Batken province – 33.

 

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours: in Bishkek and Chuy province (unvaccinated). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,950 cases, including 1,243 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,707 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

 

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 7,743. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 7 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,463 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
