Recovered patients

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 138 patients with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across the republic: in Bishkek city 52 patients, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 25, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 7.

 

Total number of recoveries during the entire period – 195,056 patients.

New cases

 

As at 27 February 2022, 20 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 9, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 8, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

 

In total, 200,478 cases were registered during the entire period, including 139,804 laboratory-confirmed cases and 60,674 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) – Rt – is 0.5.

Number of PCR tests carried out in the past twenty-four hours – 2,835.

 

Receiving treatment

 

Currently, 191 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 699 people are in outpatient care.

 

The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as follows: Bishkek city – 96, Osh city – 10, Chuy province – 52, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 7. Out of the 191 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 88 people (46.0%) is categorized as moderately severe, 80 patients (41.8%) are in severe condition, and 23 (12.0%) in critical condition.

 

The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek city – 187, Osh city – 91, Chuy province – 131, Osh province – 60, Talas province – 67, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 92, Jalal-Abad province – 38, Batken province – 20.

 

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case – in Bishkek – due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 1 case – in Bishkek – due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (unvaccinated). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,956 cases, including 1,247 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,709 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

 

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 7,743. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,480 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
