Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 31

Recovered patients

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 596 patients with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across the republic: in Bishkek city 441 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 131, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 4, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 11.

 

Total number of recoveries during the entire period – 187,596 patients.

New cases

 

As at 31 January 2022, 205 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 123, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 26, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 23, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 13.

 

In total, 198,316 cases were registered during the entire period, including 138,344 laboratory-confirmed cases and 59,972 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) – Rt – is 0.5.

Number of PCR tests carried out in the past twenty-four hours – 3,478.

 

Receiving treatment

 

Currently, 1,080 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 5,238 people are in outpatient care.

 

The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as follows: Bishkek city – 588, Osh city – 39, Chuy province – 234, Osh province – 51, Talas province – 16, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 46, Jalal-Abad province – 49, Batken province – 45. Out of the 1,080 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 8 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 594 patients (55%) are in moderately severe condition, 409 (37.8%) in severe and 69 (6.3%) in critical condition.

 

The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek city – 3,784, Osh city – 136, Chuy province – 464, Osh province – 79, Talas province – 134, Naryn province – 49, Issyk-Kul province – 166, Jalal-Abad province – 232, Batken province – 194.

 

 Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours: 4 (unvaccinated) cases in Bishkek due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,880 cases, including 1,192 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,688 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

  

Medical workers

 

Eight (8) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 4 in Bishkek city, 1 in Batken province, 3 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 7,697. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 9 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,157 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
