Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for February 1

Recovered patients

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 547 patients with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (based on laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data) recovered and were discharged from care across the republic: in Bishkek city 372 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 127, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 9.

 

Total number of recoveries during the entire period – 188,143 patients.

New cases

 

As at 01 February 2022, 202 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered in the country within the past twenty-four hours: Bishkek city – 69, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 69, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 22, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 14.

 

In total, 198,518 cases were registered during the entire period, including 138,504 laboratory-confirmed cases and 60,014 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

The incidence rate (effective reproductive number) – Rt – is 0.5.

Number of PCR tests carried out in the past twenty-four hours – 3,552.

 

Receiving treatment

 

Currently, 1,063 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient treatment, while 4,903 people are in outpatient care.

 

The number of cases in inpatient facilities is as follows: Bishkek city – 596, Osh city – 39, Chuy province – 226, Osh province – 39, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 45, Jalal-Abad province – 47, Batken province – 45. Out of the 1,063 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 8 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 586 patients (55.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 403 (37.9%) in severe and 61 (5.7%) in critical condition.

 

The number of patients with laboratory- and clinico-epidemiologically-confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment is as follows: Bishkek city – 3,469, Osh city – 135, Chuy province – 412, Osh province – 88, Talas province – 135, Naryn province – 53, Issyk-Kul province – 183, Jalal-Abad province – 229, Batken province – 199.

 

 

Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases – 1 in Bishkek, 2 in Chuy province – due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 1 case – in Bishkek – due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (unvaccinated). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 2,884 cases, including 1,195 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,689 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

 

Medical workers

 

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 3 in Jalal-Abad province, 4 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 7,704. In the past twenty-four hours, 5 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 12 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 7,174 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
